Parmesan and Herb Crusted Salmon Recipe

Sunday, December 8, 2019

You're going to love me after you make this recipe. I recently hosted, "Date Night with Androgynine" on my IG Stories LIVE. I thought it would be easier to cook with you LIVE because I'm a visual learner. I wanted to invite you into my home, my kitchen, to show how single girls like me meal prep for the week ahead.  I decided to go with a Parmesan-Herb Crusted Salmon paired with instant Garlic Mashed Potatoes.

I put a new twist on an old tradition. I usually make crusted stuffed chicken breast but this time I decided to try it with salmon. Sometimes, as single women, we want a quick meal that tastes like it took us all day to cook it. I don't know about you but I'm inspired to cook meals from my favorite restaurants like Cheesecake Factory or Mastro. This is the perfect meal for a date night for yourself or for others. It's a simple way to tell your body thank you!

Salmon is one of those delicate foods that you just can't go wrong with when it comes to seasoning and wow factor. I love that fact that it's healthy and I don't feel weighted down if I'm using it to meal prep. In less than 1 hour you'll be the talk of the table or the life of the party.

GET THE RECIPE

1 lb of Salmon "WILD" Fillet

1 tablespoon Olive oil

1/4 a cup Mayonnaise

1 tablespoon Lemon Juice

1 teaspoon of Garlic, minced – or garlic powder

Salt

Grounded Pepper

The marinade:

Mix the lemon juice, mayo, and minced garlic.

Place in the frig for 3-5 hours or not.

For the Crust:

Thyme

Rosemary

Parsley

½ cup Panko breadcrumbs

¼ cups Parmesan cheese, grated

375 Degrees for 15 mins and Broil for 5 mins without the foil on top < perfect.

GET THE instructions

Place fillet on a baking sheet lined with foil.

Spread a little olive oil over the top then apply a thin coat of marinade.

Sprinkle the salt, pepper, and (garlic powder if you're not using mince garlic) on top.

Use your Panko crumb mixed with herbs and parmesan by pressing it on the top of the marinade mix.

Your oven should have been preheated to 375F

Place the baking sheet with salmon covered in the oven.

Bake for 10-15 minutes.

Then, broil until the crust becomes golden in color.

Let it sit for 10 minutes, sprinkle with some more lemon juice, then slice for individual portions and serve with instant garlic potatoes or veggies.

Oh yeah, Don't forget the white wine!

Before You Go:

Did you try it? Did you love it as much as I hyped it up? If you make this recipe, be sure to snap a photo and hashtag it #AndrogynineRECIPE . I'd love to see how it came out!
